Meet Glory John, a 19 year old girl in AfricAid’s Kisa Project in Tanzania. She is in Form 6 (12th grade) at Enaboishu Secondary School in Arusha.
Glory dreams of being a lawyer or working for the United Nations one day, hoping to be a role model for other girls to make a difference in their society. She also loves watching movies, chatting with her friends, and making music. She lives with her father and her younger brother and sister, as her mother passed away when she was 13 years old.
Glory’s first year in the Kisa Project was sponsored by our Flip cam sales and her final year is currently being sponsored by Campus Media Group.
Watch Glory’s video below to learn more about her, in her own words! We also caught up with her and her classmate Eli this past fall—check out the second video to see more.
If you would like to leave Glory a message, feel free to leave it in the comments below and we will send them along to her and update here when she writes back!
