This website stands as a proud archive of our achievements, from our start in November 2009 through the end of 2025.
Over the past 16 years, we’ve impacted over 1,115,000 girls by working alongside 900 community organizations and 295 girl-led chapters in 62 countries.
We teach girls how to speak up for themselves in their homes, schools, and communities while we teach the mentors in their lives practical ways to support their agency. As a result, these girls become the first women in their families to achieve amazing milestones — and they are never the last.
Our Approach

Activism Training for Girls
As organizers of The Global Girls’ Bill of Rights®, we believe in supporting girls to advocate for themselves. We give them the tools, training, and platform to do so.
Organizational Strengthening
We build the skills of women who run community programs for girls, to create systems-level change that leads to stronger outcomes.
Mentorship and Education Programs
We invest in programs that directly support girls’ agency in the Global South, so they have decision-making power over their lives.
Our Impact
In 2025, our programs and partnerships impacted 179,000+ girls across 6 continents.
7,409 girls engage with our activism training and tools annually in 23 countries. Girls currently run 122 STF Campus chapters.
85% of the women we train report making meaningful changes in their programs to better center girls’ needs within 3 months.
Everything we do takes a girl-centered and anti-oppressive approach.
